- Possession Delay

Ackruti City Greenwoods
We have booked a flat in Ackruti greenwoods Thane(west) in the month of oct and year 2009 wherein we were promised a possesion by Dec 2011. However we still get a letter stating that the possesion will be futher delayedto 2014. Hence theres a delay almost by 2 years. Further when enquired about the site condition, we are informed that the constrcution is on hold. We hereby fear that being such a reputed developer the project will be left unfinished. And all the money invested by us will go for a toss.
Please advice if we can penalize the developer or buy back the property. If yes at what cost the property can be sold?
