I had booked a flat in Dream Valley by the Jain Group in Siliguri. I had gone purely by the corporate and professional image displayed by the firm. However I was forced to cancel my booking due to the untransparent and unprofessional attitude of the staff. I was also given false assurances on the pre-approved status and the carpet area. No one was available to address the concerns and my complaints remained unanswered for long time. When I escalated the issue, i was levied all sort of charges and fees. Looking at the way management was treating its customers, I decided that it would not be wise to entrust ones entire lifes savings to such a group. I asked for a refund. However after much follow up, they refunded the money after deducting 25% of the booking amount for no fault of mine.

Dear All @ jaingroup, I strongly once again make an appeal that levying a penalty on a customer who was forced to withdraw his appicaltion because of your failure and delays is not justified and once again demand a refund.
