LOTUS POND a residential project by VIJAY SHANTHI in Chennai. It is a revolution and a revelation in the art of modern day living life is a mystery revealed here. Vijay Shanthi Lotus Pond is spread over an area of 11 acres with 60% open area. The project consists of 1106 apartments offering 1, 2 and 3 BHK. Lotus Pond is ground plus 7 floors structure with excellent amenities such as library, health club, skating ring and lots more to enjoy.

Vijayshanthi builders did not give their hme yet. This project was launched on August 2009. Homes are nt even ready then think how and when will you get all the listed amenities as per the agreement. My suggestion is to stay away from this builder and if you really want to buy, buy a home which is readily available for possession.

I just went all along OMR last week to see a suitable property matching my liking and budget. Never I imagined that we could get such a great location in Lotus Pond in Kelambakkam. All my family members liked it very much and we booked. Main pluses for LP are:- Its dot on OMR, the booming IT corridor of Chennai. You get the refreshing sea breeze from the balconies of the apartments due to its proxminity to ECR. Its just 4 kms drive to ECR from here. Mahabalipuram is just 20 kms from LP.

The builders are of good reputation with a good track record and a quick chat in one of the property fairs in the City during last week made me understand that phase 1 comprising of 7 towers is likely to get done by end 2010...location wise also excellent- took 35 minutes to be precise from Madhya Kailash (on a Sunday, traffic was heavy too)..it's bang on OMR...worth taking a look & going forward. This site is around 15 KM from the Sholinganallur Junction and is next to the Fomra college...Total land area is 11 Acres...6 ACres are in the Front(Phase 1) and 5 acres are on the back. We have bought 2 flats in Lotus pond project, T9 1F and 5F. I visited the flat by Sep'11 and gave almost the total amount of 75L thro housing loan in Jan'12 by believing Vijayshanthi builders' words that I could take the possession by Feb'12. But its been more than 6 months now, the flats are not ready for possession and they started placing the low-quality materials which were not part of the model house that they showed when I purchased. Its really PAINFUL.
VS builders are not keeping their promises as committed and they don't care about it once they got the money from the customers. Really painful experience with VS builders

The lift is not yet ready. Flooring is not yet done. They are not taking care of the doors, it is getting hitted to the wall due to wind blow and getting damaged. They are not replacing the damaged doors.
The ammunities not yet finished. They have committed to finish the project by feb 2012, but neot yet finished. lets see when they will finish it.
Only 30 workers working in the whole project. They are sending all the existing workers to other projects for profit. So careless they are.
Vijay shanthi Buildiers pls do the needful as soon as possible. it is too delayed.
